  • Overview

    The objective of the Commercial Loan Operations Administrator/Systems Specialist is to contribute to the daily needs in the processing of commercial loans and operational reinforcement with specific focus on providing technical support on business specific systems to management team and department and/or processing issues.

    Responsibilities

    Systems: includes updating specs, Navigator trouble shooting, efile updates and issues, other special projects (vetting and onboarding of new software such as quest, foxtrot, laser pro), DocuSign admin tasks (Liaison between Data and the Lending Group for implementation of system changes, hardware and software updates, new product launches and other tasks that support compliance, efficiency and the customer experience

    • Support the operations day-to-day staff responsibilities including routine work assignments and assignment of project tasks as periodically required, assisting in the training of employees.
    • Resolution of complicated transactional errors when in need of technical support
    • Reporting: month end, quarter end, year-end, lender incentives, 1098, monthly GL reconciliations
    • Quality Control: includes pre-closing & post-closing qc, doc review and exception tracking
    • UCC-3 and terminations
    • Force placing of Flood insurance
    • Construction Loan Monitoring

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Minimum 2+ years banking systems experience, preferably in commercial lending area
    • Knowledge of compliance/regulatory environment, as it relates to commercial lending
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or equivalent related experience

     

    • Strong working knowledge of banking industry regulations as well as internal processes and controls, procedures and workflow specifically in loan operations and production, concept of debits and credits, servicing and accounting.
    • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
    • Advanced computer skills including word processing and spread sheet analysis
    • Completion of multiple daily functions in an accurate and timely fashion using advanced analytical skills.
